About us

We welcome you as a client of Taylor Veterinary Practice and look forward to providing the highest level of service for you and your pet.

Unfortunately there is no national health service for animals so private practices like Taylor Veterinary Practice are financed by the fees that you pay. 13 veterinary surgeons are in attendance at our clinics on a rota basis supported by nine nursing staff and a team of thirteen receptionists, we also have a dedicated ambulance driver. Our large team of staff allows to open at weekends and Bank Holidays*

This practice has been accredited as an RCVS General Practice - Small Animal Practice. This means that, in addition to complying with Core Standards, such as health and safety, hygiene and legal requirements and the provision of 24-hour cover, we also have access to a wide range of facilities.

The surgery is continually being updated to keep up with advances in the field of veterinary medicine, and all our vets undergo continuing education in order to keep up with the latest developments.

As part of our commitment to providing the highest standard of care we have our new in-house laboratory as well as in house puppy training/advice and Pet Behaviour Therapy.

Fees

Our aim is to keep fees affordable whilst offering our clients the highest possible standard of pet healthcare.

Before commencing any course of treatment, we encourage you to discuss the likely costs with the veterinarian. Clients are asked respectfully to make payment at the time of consultation and for your convenience we accept Maestro, Visa and Mastercard. We are happy to give detailed estimates prior to the beginning of treatment.

*This service is available to clients not registered with our Practice but additional fees will apply.

Direct to Insurance

If you have taken out Pet Insurance we may be able to claim our fees for treatment directly from your insurance company. This is a service very rarely offered by Vets and is a Gold Standard Service. To find out how you may be able to benefit from this service please ask for an information letter, available from each surgery or e-mail our insurance administrator clarerussell@taylorvets.co.uk

As a practice we strongly recommend that clients take out Pet Plan pet insurance - for more information please speak to one of our trained staff.
